Configure Sam Broadcaster
Professional automation software with a built-in encoder.
The four details you need
- Server address
- Port
- Broadcast password
- Mount point
All four are in your activation email and inside the control panel. They never change unless you change the password yourself.

Open Encoders
In the Encoders window click the + at the bottom left.

Pick a format
MP3 or AAC+, at your plan's bitrate.

Server tab
Type SHOUTcast or Icecast, then fill in address, port, password and mount.

Station details
Name, genre and website — these appear in directories and players.

Go live
Click the connect button next to the encoder. It turns green when connected.
If something goes wrong
The encoder will not start
The AAC codec is missing — install it or use MP3.
Doubled audio
Two encoders are active on the same mount.
